il Buco is a renowned Mediterranean-Italian restaurant – as natural and rustically elegant as the food – an under the radar gathering spot for designers, actors, writers, and food lovers who are inspired by great food amongst friends in comfortable surroundings. The eclectic menu is part Italian, part Spanish, part invention, and dedicated to local ingredients with a wine list made up of small boutique producers. Stop by il Buco almost any evening and you will be drawn in by the ambiance, the irresistible food and wine, and the welcoming hospitality. Our Wine Cellar is a magical setting for any occasion. Located down a flight of stairs off the main dining room, the Cellar is a hidden gem that even many regulars don’t know exists. It’s full of rustic, old world charm with small brick caves containing our carefully selected Boutique wines and legend has it that this room inspired Edgar Allan Poe’s story, “The Cask of Amontillado”. The Cellar can be reserved exclusively for your event for the entire evening and can accommodate a standing reception and/or a seated prix fixe dinner for approximately 26 guests.
